HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 755 - 1973-07-05 . . . .. .. .: RESOLUTION NO 755 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF TIlE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING V-16-73 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TEN-UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX IN THE R-3 ZONE WITH VARIANCE FOR .21 OF A UNIT OVER DENSITY. (BURGESS-DONOVAN) WHEREAS, in the matter of VarJ.ance ApplicatJ.on V-16-73, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows 1. SubJect case initisted by Burgess-Donovan, Inc , 789 W 20th, Costa ~lesa. 2. SubJect property described as Lots 1, 3 and 5, Block 110, Bay City Tract. 3. SubJect proposal is to construct a ten-unit apartment complex with variance for .21 unit over density. WHEREAS, the Planning CODDDJ.ssion findings are as follows' 1. The Planning Commission has approved similar variance requests in the past when less than 1/2 unit densJ.ty has been requested and when all other code requirements were met. 2. All other code requirements have been met by the proposed project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve V-16-73 subJect to the following conditions (1) Comphance with engineering conditions, (2) Parking area to be paved with Portland cement concrete, (3) Landscaping plans to the satisfsction of staff, (4) Six foot high block wall fence to be plsced on interJ.or property line, and (5) Land Use Agreement lJ.mitJ.ng number of units to ten, holding parkJ.ng for vehicles and annual J.nspection.
