A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING CO}IMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH' APPROVING VARIANCE
V-ll-73 FOR A PORCH ADDITION TO A NONCONFOIUIING
DUPLEX IN THE R-3 ZONE. (MacDONALD)
WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-ll-n, the Planning
Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
l. Subject case initiated by R. J. MacDonald, 1003A Seal Way.
2. Subject property described as Lot l7, Block D, Tract No. l009, more
commonly known as 1003 Seal Way.
3. Subject proposal is to add a porch and balcony addition to an existing
nonconforming duplex, nonconforming by reason of leaa than required parking
and less than required rear yard setback.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
l. Similar proposals have been approved when no new units have been proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve V-11-73 subject to the execution of a land use agreement
limiting the units to two, reserving parking spaces for vehicles and provisions
for annual inspection.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 16th day of May, 1973.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted at a regular
meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach which was held on
Wednesday, May 16, 1973, and carried by the following vote:
