A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-lO-73
FOR A PORCH ADDITION TO A NONCONFORMING DUPLEX
IN THE R-3 ZONE, NONCONFORMING BY REASON OF LESS
THAN THE REQUIRED PARKING. (RAGLAND)
WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-lo-73, the Planning
Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case initiated by R. C. Ragland, l21l.lt Seal Way.
2. Subject property described as Lot l3, Block E, Tract No. l009, more
commonly known as l211 Seal Way.
3. Subject proposal is to add a porch to an existing nonconforming duplex
in the R-3 Zone, nonconforming by reason of less than the required
parking.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. Similar additions have been approved in the past when no additional units
were proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve Variance V-lo-73 subject to the condition that a land
use agreement be executed limiting the units to two, holding parking open for
vehicle parking and providing for annual inspection.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of May, 1973.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted at a regular
meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach which was held on
Wednesday, May 2, 1973, and carried by the following vote:
