RESOLUTION NO. 738 A RESOWTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-9-73 FOR AN ADDITION TO A NONCONFORMING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE IN THE R-3 ZONE, NONCONFORMING BY REASON OF LESS THAN REQUIRED SIDE YARD AND REAR YARD. (SYKORA) WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application NO. V-9-73, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report sa follows: 1. Subject case initiated by John Sykora. 225 8th St., SEal Beach. 2. Subject property described as Lot 25 and 1/2 of Lot 27, Block 107, Bay City Tract, commonly known as 225 8th St. 3. Subject proposal is to add a porch and two rooms to an existing nonconforming single family residence in the R-3 zone, nonconforming by reason of less than required side and rear yards. WHEREAS, the Planning ColIDDission findings are as follows: 1. The proposed additions would not increase the degree of nonconformity. 2. Applicant indicated that the additions would match the existing building. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance V-9-73.
