RESOLUTION NO. 734 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING V-8-73 FOR A ROOM ADDITION TO AN EXISTING NONCONFORMING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE IN THE R-3 ZONE, NONCONFORMING BY REASON OF LESS THAN REQUIRED REAR YARD SETBACK. (SHAW) WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application NO. V-8-73, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case initiated by Consuelo Shaw, 1603 Seal Way. 2. Subject property described as Lot 37, Block F, Tract No.1, more commonly known as 1603 Seal Way. 3. Subject proposal is to add a room to an existing nonconforming single family residence in the R-3 zone, nonconformiing by reason of less than the required rear yard setback. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Similar variances have been granted when no additional units were proposed. 2. Applicant agreed to eliminate aide door into dwelling unit. NOW, THEiEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning CODIIlission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance V-8-73 subject to compliance with engineering conditions, execution of land use agreement limiting the number of units to one, holding parking for vehicles and providing for annual inspection, and the elimination of side door into home.
