A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING A LOT SPLIT OF
THREE (3) LOTS OF RECORD INTO TWO (2) LARGER
PARCELS. (GLAD INVESTMENTS)
WHEREAS, in the matter of a request for a lot split, the Planning Commission of
the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case initiated by G.L.A.D. Investments, P.O. Box 193, Seal Beach, CA.
2. Subject property is presently described as all of Lots 5, 6 and 7, Block D,
Tract No.1. Existing lot sizes: 25.05' x 99.39'; 25.05' x 94.63'; 25.05' x 97'.
3. Subject request is to split the above small lots into two (2) larger parcels
with the dimensions of 37!6" x 94.63' and 37'6" x 99.39'.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are aa follows:
1. The propoaed lot split is requested in conjunction with variance applicationa
for two triplexes (V-3-73 and V-4-73).
2. The property is in the process of being rezoned from C-l, Service Commercial,
to R-3, Multiple Family Residential.
3. The proposed lot split would not adversely affect tbe General Plan and is
consistent with the city's policy of encouraging the consolidation of small
lots of record.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve the lot split and recommend to the City Council approval
of the aplit aa stated above subject to the condition that the lot split be
recorded and a record of survey map be filed with reproducible copy furnished to
the City.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 21st day of February, 1973.
