RESOLUTION NO. 717 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL AMEND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH BY A CHANGE OF ZONE (CZ-l-73) FROM C-l TO R-3 FOR A 1/2 BLOCK AREA IN THE COASTAL DISTRICT. WHEREAS, in the matter of proposed change of zone, CZ-1-73, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case initiated by the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach after receipt of a petition by all property owners of the area. 2. SubJect property described as Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block H, Tract 1009, and Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block D, Tract No.1; bounded by 14th St., Seal Way Alley, Dolphin Ave. and Seal Way (sidewalk). 3. Subject proposal is to change the zone on said property from C-l to R-3. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. All structures in the above described property area are used for R-3 purposes. . 2. The proposed R-3 zone would not be in conflict with the General Plan. 3. A petition request1ng the zone change was received from all property owners in the subject area. (Exhibit A) 4. No written or oral objections were received by the Planning Commission. 5. The public hearing was duly advertized as prescribed by law and custom. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve and recommend"that the City Council amend the Zoning Map adopted by reference for the above described property from C-l to R-3. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of January, 1973.
