RESOLUTION NO.

A RESOLUTION OF THE PLJUINING COMMISSION OF THE

ON PLANNING COMMISSION DENIAL OF CP-3-74 FOR A
RESIDENTIAL BOARO AND CARE FACILITY IN THE
C-2 ZONE. (HIRSCH)
WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal A-I-74, the Planning Commission of the City of
Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. On May 1. 1974, Planning Commission denied CP-3-74 for a 56 room, 108 bed
residential board and care facility in the C-2 zone based on perceived
incompatibility and lack of parking.
2. City Council considered Appeal A-1-74 of the Planning Commission's denial
on May 28, 1974, and referred the matter back to Planning Commission with
findings that an Mactual useM parking survey of existing residential board

1. The Planning Commission considered the City Council's findings and new

parking at various facilities in Orange Coun~.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
