RESOLUTION NO. ~22
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLAIUHlJG COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING AND
RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL CHANGE
ZONES ON VARIOUS PARCELS OF LAND IN C0I1PLIANCE
WITH THE LAIID USE ELEMEIH TO THE GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, in the matter of changing zones in compliance with the Land Use Element,
the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. On October 29, 1973, the City Council adopted a Land Use Element to the
General Plan.
2. State Planning Law requires that zoning be consistent with the adopted.
General Plan by January 1,1974.
3. Existing zoning on various parcels of land in the City is not consistent
with the adopted General Plan.
In order to comply with State Planning Law it is proposed that zones be
changed on parcels that do not comply with the General Plan.
_W~EREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:

1. All proposed zone changes have been advertised as required by law.
2. All proposed zone changes comply with the Land Use Element as adopted
by the City Council Resolution No. 2258 on October 29, 1973.
3. It is recommended that the City Council change the zones on the parcels
shown in Exhibit "A" to the zones shown on the aforesaid exhibit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Seal Beach does hereby recommend that the City Council change the zones on the
parcels shown in Exhibit "A" to comply with the adopted Land Use Element of
the City of Seal Beach General Plan.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 3rd'd~ of April.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted at a regular
meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach which was held on
Wednesd~, April 3, 1974, and carried by the following vote:
