A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING
COMMISSION APPROVING VARIANCE V-24-75 FOR
AN ADDITION OF A DUPLEX AND 4-CAR r.ARAGE
ON PROPERTY CONTAINING A SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENCE AND NONCONFORMING 2-CAR GARAGE
IN THE R-3 ZONE. (135 6TH ST.)
WHEREAS, an application was filed by John Henderson, 135 6th St., for
V-24-75; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as Lots 33, 35 and 1/2 of 37, Block
5, Bay City Tract; and
WHEREAS, the proposal is to add a duplex and 4-car garage to property
containing a single family residence and nonconforming 2-car
garage; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following findings:
1. The subject property is being developed at less than
maximum density.
2. The nonconforming garage is nonconforming due to width
and exceeds minimum depth. It is physically possible
to park two vehicles in the garage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby
approve Variance V-24-75.
PASSED AND APPROVED on the 19th day of November. 1975, by the following
vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Schmitt, Ripperdan, Knapp, Lanninq
NOES: Commissioners: None
ABSENT: Commissioners: Cook
