RESOLUTION NO. 948
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE
V-21-75 FOR MECHANICAL POOL E~UIPMENT LESS
THAN MINIMUM DISTANCE FROM A NEIGHBORING
RESIDENCE (4325 DOGWOOD)
WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Dennis Straub, 4325 Dogwood,
for Variance V-21-75; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as Lot 77, Tract 6572; and
WHEREAS, the proposal is to locate mechanical pool equipment 9' 2" from
a neighboring residence in the R-l zone; and
WHEREAS, the neighboring property owner submitted a letter in supoort
of the variance; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following findings:
1. The subject property is irregular in shape, narrowing
toward the rear.
2. The prooosed location of the equipment is opposite a solid
wall with no window openings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planninq Commission does
hereby approve V-21-75.
PASSED AND APPROVED on the 3rd day of September, 1975, by the following
vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Schmitt, Ripperdan, Knapp
NOES: Commissioners: None
ABSENT: Commissioners: Cook, Lanning
