RESOLUTION NO. 937
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-15-75
FOR AN ADDITION TO A~ EXISTING COMMERCIAL
BUILDING IN THE C-1 ZONE OF MAIN STREET WITH
LESS THAN REQUIRED LANDSCAPING AND TANDEM
PARKING. (218 MAIN ST.)
WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Martin Murphy, 218 Main St. for
Variance V-15-75; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as Lot 18, Block 109, Bay City Tract;
and
WHEREAS, the proposal is to add 750 sq. ft. to an existing commercial
building in the C-1 Zone with less than required landscaping and
tandem parking; and
WHEREAS, landscaping cannot be installed due to the building's location
on the front property line; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission is of the opinion that tandem parking will
provide the needed parking for the building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby
approve V-15-75 with the understanding that the building will remain a one
story bui 1 di ng.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6th day of August, 1975 by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Schmitt, Cook, Ripperdan, Knapp, Lanning
