Resolution No. 936
A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the
City of Seal Beach Affirming its Recommendation
to City Council that a 9 Acre Parcel of Land be
Zoned C-O, Professional Office Zone.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 917 the Planning Commission recommended that a
9 acre parcel of land bounded by Seal Beach Blvd, San Diego-Garden Grove Ireeway,
and the community of Rossmoor be zoned C-O, Professional Office, and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Planning Commission's recommendations
on June 23, 1975, and referred the matter back to the Planning Commission with
recommendations that the parcel be zoned M-1, and
WHEREAS, oh July 16, 1975, the Planning Commission considered various options
for zoning the property C-O and M-1, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also considered amending the M-1 provisions to delete
certain offensive uses, require a Conditional Use Permit for M-1 development
and require M-1 development under an industrial park concept, and
WHEREAS, after considering all options, the Planning Commission was of the
opinion that the 9 acre parcel should be zoned C-O.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IF RESOLVED that the Seal Beach Planning Commission does
affirm its recommendation that the parcel be zoned C-O, Professional Office
Zone.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY The Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach at a meeting thereof held on the 16th day of July, 1975, by the following
vote:
