RESOLUTION NO. 933
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-14-75
FOR CONVERSION OF A SIDE ENTRY GARAGE TO LIVING
QUARTERS AND CONSTRUCTION OF A REPLACEMENT
GARAGE WITH LESS THAN REQUIRED FRONT YARD SETBACK
IN THE R-1 ZONE (132 YALE LANE)
WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Roy Benstead, 132 Yale Lane for
Variance, V-14-75; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as Lot 240, Tract 5847; and
WHEREAS, the proposal is to convert an existing side entry garage to living
quarters and construct a replacement garage with less than required
front yard setback; and
WHEREAS, a petition with 10 signatures was presented in support of the
application; and
WHEREAS, the portion of the proposed existing garage in the 18' setback
area would be used for storage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby
approve V-14-75.

AYES: Commissioners: Cook, Ripperdan, Kanpp, Lannlng
NOES: Commissioners: Schmitt
