RESOLUTION NO. 921 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVE APPEAL A-1-75 FILED BY JOSEPH DAVIS. WHEREAS, an application was filed by Joe Davis, 10961 Bloomfield, Los Alamitos for Variance V-11-75 to permit a lot split of two lots of record to create three lots with less than required width on Lots 40 and 41, Tract 2591; and WHEREAS, on May 7, 1975, the Planning Commission denied V-11-75 by Resolution 909; and WHEREAS, the applicant appealed the Planning Commission denial by Appeal A-1-75; and WHEREAS, on June 9, 1975, the City Council considered the appeal and referred the matter back to the Planning Commission with direction that the Commission consider additional information related to the application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that hardship exists for the subject proposal based upon the shape of the lots and the location of the property at the curve of two streets and the proposal would be in keeping with other properties in the immediate vicinity; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the matter of the appeal on June 18, 1975, and voted to recommend that City Council approve the appeal and grant the lot split subject to the following conditions: 1. Separate driveways be provided on the lots. 2. Proposed easements be reviewed by the City Attorney. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does recommend to City Council approval of the Appeal.
