RESOLUTION NO. 920 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING THAT CITY COUNCIL ADOPT A SEISMIC SAFETY-SAFETY ELEMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS, State law requires all cities to adopt a Safety Element and a Seismic Safety Element to the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the City of Seal Beach does not presently have a Safety Element or Seismic Safety Element to the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the City of Seal Beach has decided to combine the two elements into a Seismic Safety and Safety Element to the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the proposed Seismic Safety and Safety Element to the General Plan meets the requirements of State law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve and recommend that City Council adopt the Seismic Safety-Safety Element to the General Plan.
