The Plannlng Commlsslon of the Clty of Seal Beach met ln regular seSSlon on

BU11dlng. The meetIng was called to order by Chalrman Lannlng at 7 30 p m
and the Pledge to the Flag was led by Vlce ChaIrman Rlpperdan

Kang L1U, 306 Maln St., stated that he had leased parkIng for the restaurant
from Ben Rapp. H1S experlence ln the restaurant buslness lndlcated that patrons
expect to be able to order beer or Wlne wlth meals No one spoke ln Opposltlon
to the request. PubllC Hearlng closed Mr Rlpperdan moved, seconded by
Schmltt, to approve CP-2-75 wlth staff condltlons, lncludlng the legal descrlptlon
of the parkIng lot and notatlon of date of the lease Approved unanlmously.

A Referral from CIty CounCIl of Plannlng Commlsslon Recommendatlons
on Roof Mounted Greenhouses
Secretary reDorted that Clty Councl1 referred the Plannlng CommIssIon recommendatlons
on roof mounted greenhouses back for (1) clarlflcatlon of a deflnltlon of
greenhouses, (2) conslderatlon of greenhouses on roof decks, and (3) whether any
determInatIon should only apply to R-l zoned property After dlScusslon, the
PlannIng Commlsslon dlrected staff to prepare deflnltlons for Plannlng Commlsslon
conslderatlon on Aprl1 2.
