A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING
VARIANCE V-2-76 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A GARAGE
AND GARAGE APARTMENT WITH LESS THAN REQUIRED
SIDEYARD SETBACK OFF AN ALLEY. (LAWSON)
WHEREAS, an appllcatlon was duly flled by Grady Lawson, 6882 Silver
Beach Clrcle, Huntlngton Beach, CA, for Variance V-2-76; and
WHEREAS, the property lS descrlbed as Lot 11, Block 5, Bay Clty Tract,
and lS commonly known as 111 6th St.; and
WHEREAS, the proposal is to construct a 4-car garage and garage
apartment ln the R-3 zone with less than requlred slde yard
setback off an alley; and
WHEREAS, the Plannlng Commlsslon was of the oplnlon that hardshlp
eXlsted due to the location of the property adjacent to an
alley and the need for adequate garages.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Plannlng Commlsslon does hereby
approve Variance V-2-76.
PASSED AND APPROVED on February 18, 1976, by the followlng vote'
