HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 966 - 1976-01-07• • • • • RESOLUTION NO. 966 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING V -22 -75 FOR THE CONVERSION OF A NONCONFORMING TRIPLEX INTO A DUPLEX WITH 4 TANDEM PARKING, SPACES AND EXCESS HEIGHT IN THE R -3 ZONE. (1604 OCEAN AVE.) WHEREAS, an application was filed by Frank Padilla, 1604 Ocean Ave., for V- 22 -75; and WHEREAS, the property is described as Lot 3, Block F, Tract No. 1; and WHEREAS, the proposal is to convert an existing nonconforming triplex into a duplex, provide 4 tandem parking spaces in a garage of less than minimum length, and exceed the maximum height by 6 inches in order to accommodate a mezzanine access to a roof deck; and WHEREAS, the following findings are made by the Planning Commission: 1. The property is being modified from a triplex to a duplex. 2. Four parking spaces are being provided which meet code requirements for a duplex. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve V- 22 -75. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of January, 1976, by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners: Cook, Schmitt, Ripperdan, Knapp, Lanning NOES: Commissioners: None ABSENT: Commissioners.
