The City Manaqer stated that leqal action has not been deferred, and explained that a request for transfer is a four week time frame, the four week period concluded this date, the request is under review by the County at this time, and the city's leqal position has not been compromised by actions taken thus far. Ms. Sue Corbin, Seal Beach, indicated that comments made are contrary to what has been reported in an Oranqe County newspaper, the State Treasurer has called for stricter investment disclosure requ~rements, policies, etc., also said that the County is experiencinq its problems because of qreed. She demanded that City staff take responsibility for overseeinq the investment fund. There beinq no further comments, Mayor Brown declared Oral communications closed. "The December 27th reqular meetinq was adjourned to Monday, January 9th, 1995 at 6:30 p.m. to meet in Closed Session if deemed necessary.
