RESOLUTION NO. 27
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING PLAN REVIEW APPLICATION
NO. PR-5-65, SITE PLAN FOR GENERAL TELEPHONE COMPANY
BUILDING ON GARDEN GROVE BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, in the matter of the request for approval of a preliminary site plan and
development plan for the addition to the General Telephone Company's central
equipment building (Application No. PR-5-65) the Planning Commission of the City
of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case was initiated by General Telephone Co., 30 Linden, Long Beach.
2. Subject site and development plan is for a portion of Rancho Los Alamitos per
Partition Map No. 2 recorded in Book 700 Page 113 of Deeds, Records of Los
Angeles County, being also a portion of the North one-half of Section 1, T.5S,
R.12 W., S.B.B. and M. as said Section 1 is defined on said Partition Map, more
par~icularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said
Section 1, shown as the centerline intersection of Los Alamitos Boulevard and
Garden Grove Boulevard in Orange County Surveyor's Book 104, Page 66; thence
North 880 46' 41" West, 2658.15 feet along the North line .of said Section 1 and
the centerline of said Garden Grove Boulevard, 80 feet wide; thence South 10
13' 19" West, 40.00 feet to the true point of beginning of this description;
thence continuing 10 13' 19" West, 348.48 feet; thence North 880 46' 41" West,
250.00 feet; thence North 10 13' 19" East, 348.48 feet to the southerly line of
said Garden Grove Boulevard, thence South 880 46' 41" East, 250.00 feet to
the true point of beginning, being 2 acres, at 2970 Garden Grove Boulevard,
Seal Beach.

3. Subject site and development plan is a plot plan indicating a proposed size
and arrangement of a building addition and the number and arrangement of parking
spaces and location of access points.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. This is an allowable use in the M-l Zone as indicated.
2.. The general arrangement is acceptable.
3. The number of required parking spaces is acceptable.
NOW,~THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve Plan Review Application No. PR-5-65.

meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach which was held on
April 21, 1965 and carried by the following vote:
