the Beach Commission on March 31st and unless that body were to
adjourn to April 6th there would be a violation of the Brown Act,
therefore it would be more appropriate to simply make the
commission aware of the meeting. Mayor Laszlo again noted that
the Aviation Report indicates that one hundred forty-three of the
homes proposed by the Bixby company would not be feasible to be
built. Councilmember Wilson inquired as to the status of the
alcohol use ordinance for special events. The City Manager noted
that the ordinance had received first reading, that the City
Attorney had been directed to research the feasibility of an
attendance limit, the result of which has been received, and
indicated his preference to present a special event policy, which
is nearing completion, in conjunction with the proposed
ordinance, the two documents to work in concert.
