ROLL CALL Present: Chai rman Laszlo Agency Members Blackman, Gray, Kredell, Weir I Absent: None Also present: Mr. Courtemarche, Executive Director-Secretary Mr. Watson, City Attorney Mr. Str~usz, Deputy C~t~ Attorney APPROVAL OF MINUTES Blackman moved, second by Weir, to 'approve the minutes of the regular adjourned meeting of June 13, 1977 as p~esented. AYES: NOES: Blackman, Gray, Kredell, Laszlo, Weir None Mot i on carr i ed Blackman moved, second by Kredell, that if this meeting should go beyond the regular meeting time of t~e'City Council, that this Agency should recess to 9:00 p.m. to conclude Agency business. AYES: NOES: Blackman, Gray, Kredell, Laszlo, Weir None Motion carried RESOLUTION NUMBER 77-6 - ADOPTING 1977-78 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET The Executive Director presented an encompassing report of the revenues and expenditures in the proposed budget for the Redevelopment Agency for the next fiscal year. I Blackman moved, second by Gray, to waive further reading and adopt Resolution Number 77-6 entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH FOR FISCAL YEAR 1977-78." Agency members discussed various aspects of the budget. AYES: NOES: Blackman, Gray, Laszlo, Weir Krede 11 Motion carried Agency Member Kredell asked that the record state that his negative vote was in opposition to relocation fees and consultant fees. Blackman moved, second by Gray, to recess the meeting until 9:00 p.m. to conclude the Redevelopment Agency agenda at that time. AYES: NOES: Blackman, Gray, Kredell, Laszlo, Weir None Motion carried The Redevelopment Agency meeting reconvened at 9:13 p.m. with Chairman Laszlo calling the meeting to order. EXTENDING CONTRACT - SEAL BEACH ASSOCIATES - DEPARTMENT OF WATER AND POWER PROPERTY Blackman moved, second by Gray, to extend the contract with Seal Beach Associates regarding the Department of Water and Power Property for one year. I Lengthy discussion followed with members of the Agency discussing the use of the property under consideration. AYES: NOES: Blackman, Gray Kredell, Laszlo, Weir Motion fai led 6-27-77 "< '.0 ..:. Kredell moved, second by Gray, that the Executive Director explore all possible avenues for purchase of the property and other developments for the property. AYES: NOES: Blackman, Gray, Kredell, Laszlo, Weir None Mot i on carr i ed I Chairman Laszlo announced that he would serve on the Agency committee regarding trailer park relocation in place of Mr. Kredell. Laszlo moved, second by Blackman, to recess to Executive Session to be held in conjunction with the Council Executive Session to discuss legal matters. AYES: NOES: Blackman, Gray, Kredell, Laszlo, Weir None Motion carried The Agency recessed at 10:20 p.m. to continue the Council agenda. The Agency reconvened at 11:00 p.m. for Executive Session and at 11:48 p.m. Chairman Laszlo announced that the Agency had discussed litigation.
