The Environmental Quality Control Board of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session in the City Council Chambers, City Administration Building. The meeting was opened by Chairman King with Mr. DeForest leading the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. ROLL CALL Present: King, Biscoe, DeForest, Knuti, Smedley Absent: None MINUTES The minutes of March 25 were unanimously approved as submitted. PUBLIC HEARING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT, RELOCATION OF THE CITY.S POLICE STATION AND CORPORATION YARD The hearing was opened by Chairman King. The Secretary presented the staff report recommending that the Board find the Environmental Impact Report sufficient. The Chairman asked for comments by the audience, for or against the Environmental Impact Report. One member of the audience came forward. Harold Halldin, City Engineer, stated that he favored the project. The hearing was closed by the Chairman. Motion by Biscoe, seconded by DeForest, to declare the Environmental Impact Report to be sufficient. Motion unanimously approved. Secretary to forward the final report to the City Council and Redevelopment Agency. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. /- A ",-1 ,.... /~.
