The meeting was called to order by Chairman DeForest with Dr. Telford leading the Pledge of Allegiance. ROLL CALL Present: DeForest, Nelsen, Telford, Watkinson Absent: Biscoe The Secretary announced that he had received Ms. Biscoe's resignation and had forwarded it to the City Council. t'll NUTES . Minutes of February 17, 1977, approved as amended. DISCUSSION - HISTORIC PRESERVATION The Board held a general discussion of Historic Preservation. Mr. Nelsen presented materials he had received from several agencies. Mort Baum and Joan Stegman~resented photographs of the various historical sites around Seal Beactr-.-., No action It/as taken. It was also announced that May would be declared Anti-Litter Month. The Secretary presented the plans for the proposed subdivision in Bridgeport, Tentative Tract 9814. The details of the project were discussed, including the determination by the Planning Director that a Negative Declaration would be sufficient. Motion by Watkinson, second by Nelsen to concur with the determination that a Negative Declaration would be sufficient. AYES: DeForest, Nelsen, Watkinson NOES: None ABSENT: Telford, Biscoe WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS The following received and filed by unanimous vote: 1.
