He's been to the City Council and Planning Commission and they referred him here. He indicated City staff remove trees for nice people. He won't settle for any more removal of trees. He'll buy the trees to replace the removed ones. Mr. Caviola brought with him a licensed landscape architect, Bob McMann who will volunteer his time to help with City street trees. Bob McMann, 116~ 6th Street spoke regarding the issue of street trees from a landscaping perspective. He felt its important for the City to adopt a plan for street trees. The City should hire an arborist or plant pathologist to determine whether trees should be removed. The City will need to do something about the ficus trees on Main Street in the near future. There are new technologies which will prevent or discourage root intrusion. P.'I._.'EQCB'MINUTES OF NOV. 21. 1995 BCC:acc .. .. (.
