The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Seal Beach met
in regular session at 6:45 p.m. with Chairman Risner calling
the meeting to order with the Salute to the Flag.

WAIVER OF READING
Brownell moved, second by Clift, to waive the reading in
full of all resolutions and that consent to the waiver
of reading shall be deemed to be given by all Agency Members
after reading of the title unless specific request is made
at that time for the reading of such resolution.

the regular meeting of July 23, 1984 as presented.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Chairman Risner declared oral communications open. Agency
Member Brownell requested an update' on the status of
developments of interest to the Agency. The City Manager
reported that the market study for the D.W.P. site will
be forthcoming, that meetings have been held with the hotel
developer to prepare a disposition and development agreement
with the intent to present same to the Agency by the end
of the calendar year; that the Riverbeach condos are being
built out and reportedly all units are being sold; and
with regard to the Hellman development, it is understood
that negotiations have taken place between the Hellman
attorneys and a large developer interested in purchasing
that land. Mr. Parker also reported that plans have been
submitted by Best Western for a seventy-two room hotel
on the Growin' My Way Nursery site which complies with
all City zoning; and that plans had been submitted for
a two-story development on the State Lands site, however
the E.I.R. was found to be deficient and returned to the
developer. There were no other oral communications;
Chairman Risner declared oral communications closed.
ADJOURNMENT
Brownell moved, second by Wilson, to adjourn the meeting
at 6:53 p.m.
