The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Seal Beach met in regular adjourned session at 6:45 p.m. with Chairman Laszlo calling the meeting to order with the Salute to the Flag. ROLL CALL Present: Chairman Laszlo Agencymembers Brown, Doane, Forsythe, Hastings Absent: None I Also present: Mr. Barrow, City Attorney Mr. Whittenberg, Director of Development Services Mrs. Yeo, Secretary WAIVER OF FULL READING Brown moved, second by Forsythe, to waiver the reading in full of all resolutions and that consent to the waiver of reading shall be deemed to be given by all Agencymembers after reading of the title unless specific request is made at that time for the reading of such resolution. AYES: NOES: Brown, Doane, Forsythe, Hastings, Laszlo None Motion carried I TAX INCREMENT TRANSFER - EDUCATIONAL REVENUE AUGMENTATION FUND The Director of Development Services presented the staff report, noted that the State 1992/93 fiscal year budget required Redevelopment Agencies to transfer approximately sixteen percent of their tax increment to the Educational Revenue Augmentation Fund, and as is the case in Seal Beach, the Budget Act requires the payment of said monies by the city when the debt service of the Agency does not allow said payment by the Agency. He explained that the Agency will incur a principal debt to the City of $128,791.59, the amount of the transfer, will be subject to an established interest rate, the pay-baCk of same to be reflected in the Redevelopment Agency 1993/94 fiscal year budget. Brown moved, second by Doane, to approve a request and acceptance of a loan from the city in the amount of $128,791.59 to be transmitted to the Educational Revenue Augmentation Fund. AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Brown, Doane, Forsythe, Hastings None Laszlo Motion carried AGENCY REORGANIZATION Selection of Chairman I Agencymember Brown nominated Mr. Laszlo to continue as Chairman for the upcoming year, and moved that nominations be closed. Agencymember Doane seconded the motion. AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Brown, Doane, Forsythe, Hastings None Laszlo Motion carried Mr. Laszlo was unanimously declared Chairman of the Redevelopment Agency for 1993/1994.
