HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA Min 1993-09-27 9-27-93 Seal Beach, California September 27, 1993 I The Redevelopment Agency of the city of Seal Beach met in regular session at 6:45 p.m. with Chairman Laszlo calling the meeting to order with the Salute to the Flag. ROLL CALL Present: Chairman Laszlo Agencymembers Brown, Doane, Forsythe, Hastings Absent: None Also present: Mr. Bankston, Executive Director Mr. Barrow, city Attorney Mr. Whittenberg, Director of Development Services Mrs. Yeo, Secretary WAIVER OF FULL READING Brown moved, second by Hastings, to waive the reading in full of all resolutions and that consent to the waiver of reading shall be deemed to be given by all Agencymembers after reading of the title unless specific request is made at that time for the reading of such resolution. AYES: NOES: Brown, Doane, Forsythe, Hastings, Laszlo None Motion carried I APPROVAL OF MINUTES Forsythe moved, second by Brown, to approve the minutes of the August 23rd, 1993 regular meeting. AYES: NOES: Brown, Doane, Forsythe, Hastings, Laszlo None Motion carried STATUS REPORT I RESPONSE LETTER - AB 1290 - REDEVELOPMENT REFORM Hastings moved, second by Forsythe, to receive and file the staff report, instruct the Chairman of the Agency to sign the letter to the Governor urging the signing of AB 1290, and directed that same be forwarded to the Planning Commission for information. AYES: NOES: Brown, Doane, Forsythe, Hastings, Laszlo None Motion carried I RESOLUTION NUMBER 93-4 - AUTHORIZING LOAN - RIVERFRONT LOWI MODERATE INCOME HOUSING FUND - CONTRIBUTION TO EDUCATION REVENUE AUGMENTATION FUND Resolution Number 93-4 was presented to the Agency entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AUTHORIZING AND CONFIRMING A LOAN FROM THE RIVERFRONT LOW AND MODERATE HOUSING FUND AS OF JUNE 30, 1993 FOR PAYMENT OF THE SEAL BEACH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY's CONTRIBUTION TO THE EDUCATION REVENUE AUGMENTATION FUND." The Executive Director requested that the Resolution be amended to reflect the rescinding of City Council Resolution Number 4222. By unanimous consent, full reading of Resolution Number 93-4 was waived. Brown moved, second by Hastings, to adopt Resolution Number 93-4 as amended. AYES: NOES: Brown, Doane, Forsythe, Hastings, Laszlo None Motion carried 9-27-93 I 10-25-93 AGENCY CONCERNS No Agency Concerns were presented. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS There were no Oral Communications.
