The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Seal Beach met in
regular session at 7:14 p.m. with Chairman Campbell calling
the meeting to order with the Salute to the Flag.
ROLL CALL

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Hastings moved, second by Fulton, to approve the order of the
agenda as presented.

WAIVER OF FULL READING
Brown moved, second by Hastings, to waive the reading in full
of all resolutions and that consent to the waiver of reading
shall be deemed to be given by all Agencymembers unless
specific request is made at that time for the reading of such
resolution.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Chairman Campbell declared Oral Communications open. Mr.
Gordon Shanks, Surf Place, reported having been contacted by
residents of the Trailer Park who have expressed concern with
persons renting and subleasing units in the Park, allegedly
at higher rents, his understanding is that the Agency has an
obligation to control or monitor the low and moderate income
levels. Agencymember Brown requested that a status report be
prepared for the next Agency meeting. Agencymember Hastings
inquired if a list could be obtained showing the rents being
paid for those units, the addresses, and whether they are
owner occupied. The City Attorney noted that the City has
the authority to request an audit yet that may not provide
the information being requested, however offered to look into
this matter and obta~n as much information as possible.
There being no further comments, Chairman Campbell declared
Oral Communications closed.

CLOSED SESSION ITEM
The City Attorney noted that pursuant to Government Code
Sections 54956.9(a) and 54956.9(c) the Stull versus Bank of
America litigation item was discussed in Closed Session, the
same subject matter as listed on the Council agenda. Brown
moved, second by Fulton, to authorize intervening in the
Stull versus Bank of America matter on behalf of the Agency.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Brown moved, second by Fulton, to approve the minutes of the
regular meeting of June 23rd, 1997.

There were no Agency Concerns presented.
ADJOURNMENT
By unanimous consent, the Agency meeting was adjourned at
7:20 p.m.
