Home My WebLink AboutRDA Min 1998-11-23 10-26-98 / 11-23-98 ADJOURNMENT It was the order of the Chair, with consent of the Agency, to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 p.m. 'l~(j~ Chairman / I Seal Beach, California November 23. 1998 The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session at 6:50 p.m. with vice Chairman Yost calling the meeting to order with the Salute to the Flag. ROLL CALL Present: Chairman Campbell Agencymembers Boyd, Brown, Doane, Yost I Absent: None Also present: Mr. Till, Executive Director Mr. Barrow, City Attorney Mrs. Yeo, City Clerk APPROVAL OF AGENDA Brown moved, second by Boyd, to approve the order of the agenda as presented. AYES: NOES: Boyd, Brown, Campbell, Doane, Yost None Motion carried WAIVER OF READING Boyd moved, second by Brown, to waive the reading in full of all resolutions and that consent to the waiver of reading shall be deemed to be given by all Agencymembers after the reading of the title unless specific request is made at that time for the reading of such resolution. I AYES: NOES: Boyd, Brown, Campbell, Doane, Yost None Motion carried ORAL COMMUNICATIONS There were no Oral Communications. I I I 11-23-98 / 12-28-98 APPROVAL OF MINUTES Brown moved, second by Boyd, to approve the minutes of the regular Agency meetings of September 28th and October 26th as presented. AYES: NOES: Boyd, Brown, Campbell, Doane, Yost None Motion carried CLOSED SESSION The City Attorney announced that the Agency would meet in Closed Session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8 to discuss the item identified on the agenda, a conference with the Agency's real property negotiator. The Agency adjourned to Closed Session at 6:53 p.m. and reconvened at 7:07 p.m. with Chairman Campbell calling the meeting to order. The City Attorney reported the Agency had discussed real property negotiations for property located at 201 - 8th Street, and the Agency authorized the Executive Director to retain an appraiser for that property. ADJOURNMENT It was the order of adjourn the meeting the Chair, with consent of the Agency, to at 7:07 p.m. t~f~ Cit Seal Beach, California December 28, 1998 The Redevelopment Agency regularly scheduled meeting of December 28th was canceled per direction of the City Council.
