CALL TO ORDER II. ROLL CALL III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA By Motion of the Archaeological Advisory Committee, this is the time to: (a) Notify the public of any changes to the agenda; (b) Rearrange the order of the agenda; and /or (c) Provide an opportunity for any member of the Archaeological Advisory Committee, staff, or public to request an item be removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action. IV. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS At this time, members of the public may address the Archaeological Advisory Committee regarding any items within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee, provided that NO action or discussion may be undertaken by the Committee unless otherwise authorized by law. V. CONSENT CALENDAR — No Items Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine and are enacted by one motion unless prior to enactment, a member of the Archaeological Advisory Committee, Staff or the public requests that a specific item be removed from Consent Calendar for separate action. VI. SCHEDULED MATTERS 1. RECEIPT OF PUBLIC COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REVIEW — Cultural Resources Section of Hellman Ranch Specific Plan Draft EIR CAMy DncunwntslARCIICOMM \ACtENDA.46.docM- W\05 -01 -97 Archaeological Advisory Committee Continued Meeting Agenda May 14. 1997 Recommendation: The Archaeological Advisory Committee may wish to conduct another public input meeting regarding the Cultural Resources section of the Hellman Ranch Specific Plan Draft EIR prior to the closing of the public comment period. If the Committee determines another meeting is appropriate, it would be proper for the Committee to schedule this additional public continent meeting prior at a date and time certain. The next regular meeting of the Committee is on June 4, 1997. The Committee may wish to continue this matter to the regular meeting date, or to another date prior to the end of the comment period. Upon conclusion of receiving all appropriate public comments, staff recommends the Committee review the discussion and the proposed mitigation monitoring measures for the Hellman Ranch Specific Plan DEIR. The Committee should forward a recommendation to the Environmental Quality Board as to the adequacy of the information provided, and forward a recommendation to the Planning Commission as to the adequacy of the proposed "Mitigation Measures ". Approval should be through the adoption of Resolution No. 97 -1 or 97 -1A and Resolution 97 -2 or 97 -2A (Attachments i and 1A, and 2 and 2A, respectively). VII. CONMUTTEE CONCERNS VIII.
