Councilman Hunt stated that a thorough review of the Environmental Impact Report has been made -from a legal standpoint, and although the impacts of the EIR are SUbjective, the Council is faced with compliance with the law and reliance on professional assistance in the environmental field. He noted also that at some point in the-future the City will realize approximately-fifty thousand dollars per month of tax increment from this development, the collection of which is dependent upon the time frame to complete the review process of this project. Councilman Hunt again pointed out that if the additional-five acres, a condition of this Agreement, is not realized, there will not be a development project.
