After closing of the public hearing, adopt Resolution No.52 3. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Seal Beach Establishing Fees and ' Charges for Goods, Services and Facilities. Provided by the City of Seal Beach and . Superseding Inconsistent Provisions of Resolutions 4114, 4195, 4234, 4250, 4442, 4494, - 4499, 4519, 4545; 4550, 4650, 4718, 4910, 5032, 5141, 5154, and 5249 - • BACKGROUND: • • On June 14, 2004 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5249, establishing fees and charges for goods, services and facilities provided by the City of Seal Beach, and superseding inconsistent provisions of various resolutions. As part of the comprehensive Code revision process that has been completed by the City Council, certain revisions to . the fees and charges established by Resolution No. 5249 are proposed for adoption by the City Council. • The proposed revisions are as follows: • • ❑ Revised •Fee - Section 1, Administrative Fees. Item A.3.a: Copy of complete • Municipal Code — current fee is $70.00; proposed fee is $100.00. ❑ Revised fee is proposed based on costs of printing and binding new Municipal • Code. • ❑ Revised Fee - Section 4, Police Fees, Item L.8: SBMC 8.115, Street Sweeping Violation — current fee is $25.00, proposed fee is $35.00. ❑ Revised fee is proposed to make all Police Fees consistent. Any delinquencies, penalties, appeals, hearings, suspensions, revocations, violations, and enforcements are established by the FOG Ordinance. The proposed fee revisions are established to capture actual costs incurred for city goods, services, and facility use. RECOMMENDATION: Conduct public hearing.
