hereina, er referred to as the "City," and the Seal Beach
Journal, hereinafter referred to as the "Journal."
WITNESSETR:
WHEREAS, the Journal represents to the City that it is a
newspaper of general circulation as defined by the laws
of the State of California, and was adjudicated as such
by the Superior Court of the State of California on
February 24, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual promises
and covenants herein contained, the parties hereto agree as
follows:
1. The Journal agrees to notify the City immediately in
the event that the Journal ceases to be a newspaper of
general circulation as defined by the laws of the State
of California and the Charter of the City of Seal
Beach.
2. The Journal agrees to print and publish in the Journal
in a timely manner, all ordinances, notices and other
material submitted by the City for publication, at the
rate of five dollars and twenty-five cents ($5.25) per
column inch.
3. The Journal recognizes that the material given to it by
the City for publication in the Journal must be
accurately and timely reproduced in the Journal and
that said material is being printed to provide legal
notice to interested parties and the citizens of the
City.
4. The Journal agrees to furnish the City with one (1)
copy of all ordinances, notices and other materials
published for the City, together with an affidavit of
publication.
5. The Journal agrees to print, publish, and circulate in
the Journal all ordinances, notices and other materials
submitted by the City on or before each Monday at 5:00
p.m. , in the issue of the Journal circulated the
following Thursday.
6. This Agreement shall be cancellable by either party
upon thirty (30) days written notice.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
Agreement on the date first above written.

"City, " and the Seal Beach Journal, hereinafter referred
to as the "Journal. "

4 . The Journal agrees to furnish the City
with one ( 1 ) copy of all ordinances , notices and other
materials published for the City, together with an
affidavit of publication.
5 . The Journal agrees to print, publish, and
circulate in the Journal all ordinances, notices and
other materials submitted by the City on or before
each Friday, in the issue of the Journal circulated
the following Wednesday.
6 . This Agreement shall be cancelable by either
party upon thirty ( 30 ) days written notice.

day of April, 1981, by and between the City of Seal Beach,
a body corporate and politic of the State of California,
hereinafter referred to as "City ", and the Seal Beach
Journal, hereinafter referred to as "the Journal ".
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Journal represents to the City that
it is a newspaper of general circulation as defined by the
laws of the State of California, and was adjudicated as
such by the Superior Court of the State of California on
February 24, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual
promises and covenants herein contained, the parties hereto
agree as follows:
1. The Journal agrees to notify the City immediately

general circulation as defined by the laws of the State of
California and the Charter of the City of Seal Beach.

eighty five cents ($3.85) per inch.
3. The Journal recognizes that the material given
to it by the City for publication in the Journal must be
accurately reproduced in the Journal and that said material
is being printed to provide legal notice to interested
parties and th.e citizens of the City.

4. The Journal agrees to furnish the City with
one (1) copy of all notices, ordinances and other materials
published for the City, together with an affidavit of
publication. If the City requests any additional copies of
published material with affidavits of publication attached
thereto, such copies shall be furnished to the City at a
charge of one dollar ($1.00) per copy.
5. The Journal agrees to print, publish, and
circulate in the Journal all notices and other materials
submitted by the City on or before each Friday, in the
issue of the Journal circulated the following Wednesday.
6. This contract shall be cancellable by either
party upon thirty (30) days written notice.

Beach, a body corporate and politic of the State of California,
hereinafter referred to as "City ", and Sandpiper Press, Inc.,
a California corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Sandpiper
Press ", publishers of The Seal Beach Journal, hereinafter
referred to as "the Journal ".
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Sandpiper Press represents to the City
that the Journal is a newpaper of general circulation as
defined by the laws of the State of California, and was adjudi-
cated as such by the Superior Court of the State of California
on February 24, 1975,
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual
promises and covenants herein contained, the parties hereto
agree as follows:
1. Sandpiper Press agrees to notify the City imme-
diately in the event that the Journal ceases to be a newspaper
of general circulation as defined by the laws of the State of
California and the Charter of the City of Seal Beach.
2. Sandpiper Press agrees to print and publish in
the Journal, ordinances, notices and other material submitted
by the City for publication, at the rate of three dollars
($3.00) per inch; and further agrees to include such notices
in that portion of The Shopper which is distributed in Zone 1.
3. Sandpiper Press recognizes that material given
to it by the City for publication in the Journal must be

accurately reproduced in the Journal and that said material
is being printed to provide legal notice to interested
parties and the citizens of the City. •
4. Sandpiper Press shall be entitled to reim-
bursement of the ten dollar ($10.00) filing fee for filing
any document with the Clerk of Orange County, California.
5. Sandpiper Press agrees to furnish the City
with one (1) copy of all notices, ordinances and other
materials published for the City, together with an affidavit
of publication. If the City requests any additional copies
of published material with affidavits of publication attached
thereto, such copies shall be furnished to the City at a
charge of one dollar ($1.00) per copy.

circulate in the Journal all notices and other materials sub-
mitted by the City on or before each Friday, in the issue of
the Journal circulated the following Wednesday.
7. This contract shall be cancellable by either
