Maintenance District No 1
SUMMARY OF REQUEST
Staff requests City Council approve a proposal for Special District Administration of the
Street Lighting Maintenance Distnct No 1 for Fiscal Year 2003/04
BACKGROUND
Since the inception of the Street Lighting Maintenance Distnct No 1, MuniFinancial, a
Willdan Company has served as the administrator Approval of this proposal will
provide continuity in administration for this special district
The 2003/04 Annual Levy of Assessment for the Street Lighting Maintenance Distnct
No 1 will proceed as in years past Muninnancial will review appropnations, compute
the assessment for each parcel, prepare the Engineer's Report attend the council meeting
and public heanng and place assessment on the County's Assessor's Roll
FISCAL IMPACT
MuniFinancial propose a lump sum fee of $9,500 payable quarterly on a percentage
completion basis as the work progresses This fee is the same as than the pnor fiscal year
fees The fees do not impact the General Fund because they are assessed to each parcel
