Dancs, Director of Public Works /City Engineer SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT NO. LL 03 -02,1 ANDERSON STREET (ASSESSOR PARCEL NO. 178-502-45 AND ASSESSOR PARCEL NO. 178 - 502 -46) SUMMARY OF REQUEST: The proposed City Council Action will adopt attached Resolution approving Lot Line Adjustment No. LL -03 -02 for the purpose of granting 104.86 square feet (0.00241 acre) from Parcel 1 known as Assessor Parcel Number 178 - 502 -46 owned by Surfside Colony, LTD., Inc. to Parcel 2 known as 1 Anderson Street (Assessor Parcel Number 178 - 502 -45) owned by Gerald L. Wallace. BACKGROUND: The proposed Lot Line Adjustment No. LL -03 -02 was prepared and submitted by Jones, Cahl and Associates on behalf of Gerald L. Wallace, owner of parcel 2, in order to accommodate a 2.7 feet overhang encroachment from parcel 2 to parcel 1 by acquiring 104.86 square feet (0.00241 acre) of property from Surfside Colony, LTD, Inc., owner of parcel 1. A'copy of Lot Line Adjustment No. LL -03 -02 with authorized signatures, parcel descriptions, and exhibits is attached for City Council review. The lot line adjustment procedure is not a subdivision procedure and the proposed lot line revision is exempt from the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act. A lot line adjustment is an administrative procedure and can be completed by adoption of the attached resolution. FISCAL IMPACT: No impact. Costs are recovered through user fees collected at the time of application. AGENDA ITEM RECOMMENDATION: Upon motion of the consent calendar, it is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached resolution approving Lot Line Adjustment No. LL -03 -02 for 1 Anderson Street, and authorize the Director of Public Works /City Engineer and the Director of Development Services to sign Lot Line Adjustment No. LL- 03 -02.
