BACKGROUND:
The existing Boeing Sewage Pump Station is located in an easement on the northeast

constructed in 1966 to serve a portion of the Boeing Corporation property and also serves

station will provide sufficient capacity for the existing site. The final plans and
specifications are now complete and the project is ready to be bid. The plans were
checked and approved by the City's consultant, the Engineering Division, and the
• - Maintenance Division.
The new pump station will include the construction of a 490 gpm duplex submersible lift
station consisting of: 2- sliderail submersible, 10 hp vortex pumps; an 8 -foot diameter T-
• lock lined precast concrete wet well; a 12 -6'•' x 8' valve vault, including 3 feet of over •
• excavation under the vault base; valves and piping; installation of a pump control panel;
and a connection to a new force main. In addition, a 100 kW on -site, natural gas powered
